Last week I wasn’t well.
Deciding I needed the ultimate in carby comfort and not having much food in the house, I had a pie sandwich. Yes, I cooked a frozen pie and put it in a sandwich.
I did wonder what it was going to taste like but it was surprisingly good with a jaunty dash of tomato sauce.
The musical equivalent of this is a piece of music we recognise and like.
Coming up to Christmas there will be pie sandwiches everywhere in the form of much loved carols and songs.
For those students who have learned all the Christmas musical fare they need or don’t learn Christmas music it’s a shame for them to miss out on a carby musical treat.
So a piece of pop or rock music or a well-known classic or song from a musical should go down well!
As a result, this will improve students’ Christmas or holiday experience.
Giving them enjoyment and fun.
Isn’t the effect of music amazing…
This will make them enjoy your lessons even more.
So they tell their relatives and friends.
Which draws in more students.
Students having fun are more likely to continue lessons.
Which improves your retention rates.
It’s amazing the knock on effect of doing good or nice things.
What’s your favourite carby treat, whether edible or musical?
